Central Florida based Gravis Marketing has produced several polls this cycle which have raised eyebrows. The most recent poll from this firm gave Mitt Romney a three point lead in Florida and has Connie Mack closing within three points of Bill Nelson. Gravis Marketing’s polls seem to consistently skew polling averages towards the GOP since they are part of the equation in most poll tracker website averages. The polls are cited regularly by Republican leaning pundits on the internet and television throughout the country.
Gravis’ numbers have been mysterious as well as the track record of its proprietors. From a pure analysis standpoint the polls are robo calls which as a polling method are not terribly reliable. But what’s more interesting and troubling depending on your perspective is the background of the company and its leaders. The Daily Kos has more.
Wow! Incredible stuff!
Goodness, what a scam this company is.
