Democratic Black Caucus of Florida Endorses Alan Clendenin

The Democratic Black Caucus of Florida has endorsed Alan Clendenin for FDP Chair. This comes less than a week after the Democratic Hispanic Caucus of Florida backed Clendenin’s candidacy. Full release is below.

CLENDENIN FOR STATE PARTY CHAIR

Tampa, Florida- The Democratic Black Caucus of Florida was established in 1983, to
unite and increase the political power for Black Democrats. The Democratic Black
Caucus of Florida endorses Alan Clendenin as the next Chairman of the Florida
Democratic Party.
As State Committeeman of Hillsborough County, Member of the Democratic National
Committee and Chair of the Florida Platform Committee Mr. Clendenin has consistently
demonstrated a commitment to inclusiveness. Mr. Clendenin has a long-standing
relationship with the Democratic Black Caucus of Florida. “Black grassroots Democrats
will have a place at the Florida Democratic table under Alan Clendenin’s leadership.” Dr.
